DTF Printed T-Shirts

Q: What is DTF printing?

A: DTF printing is a new technology that allows for high-quality, full-colour prints on a variety of fabrics, including t-shirts. It stands for Direct-to-Film printing, which is a process that involves printing onto a special film that is then transferred onto the fabric.

Q: What is the washability of DTF-printed t-shirts?

A: According to DTF Printing Technology, the washability of DTF printed t-shirts is fine as long as you use quality powder and follow the correct application procedures. They recommend washing at 40°C – Dynamic Embroidery suggests between 50-100 100 washes

Q: How do I wash DTF-printed t-shirts?

A: DTF-printed t-shirts can be washed using either machine or hand washing. We recommend washing with cold water (max 40 degrees) and turning the garment inside out before washing. We also suggest using a mild detergent and avoiding bleach or fabric softeners. After washing, hang the garment to dry or tumble dry on low heat (definitely inside out if you are tumble drying)

Q: How do I care for DTF printed t-shirts?

A: To care for DTF printed t-shirts, it’s best to avoid ironing directly on the print. Instead, iron the garment inside out or place a cloth over the print before ironing. It’s also important to avoid dry cleaning or using harsh chemicals on the garment

Personalised Hoodies

Q. What is the difference between DTF full-colour prints and embroidery?

A. DTF printing is a process of printing full-colour designs onto a transfer sheet, which is then heat-pressed onto the garment. Embroidery, on the other hand, involves stitching the design directly onto the garment using thread. DTF printing is ideal for designs with multiple colours and gradients, while embroidery is best suited for simple designs with fewer colours.
